Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what data Snaporie collects, how it is used, and what choices users have when using the app.

Effective date: April 11, 2026 App: Snaporie Contact: [email protected]

Snaporie ("Snaporie", "we", "us", or "our") provides a mobile app that helps users log meals, estimate calories and macronutrients, track weight, support subscriptions and premium access, and optionally connect Apple Health data on iOS. This Privacy Policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and what choices you have.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information depending on how you use the app:

A. Information you provide

  • Profile and onboarding data, such as your selected language, units, activity level, birth year, height, weight, target weight, calorie goals, and app preferences.
  • Meal data, such as meal names, meal type, timestamps, barcode scans and related product data, manual food descriptions or other text input, meal photos or images you choose to upload, calorie and macronutrient estimates generated for your entries, and your meal history.
  • Weight log entries and related history that you add in the app.
  • Feedback or support messages you send to us, if any.

Meal photos, barcode data, and text descriptions you submit may be processed by automated systems, including AI-based analysis tools, to estimate calories, macronutrients, meal names, and related nutrition insights. These results are generated automatically and may be inaccurate or incomplete.

Where required to provide these features, your submitted content may be transmitted to our backend infrastructure and service providers that support meal analysis and processing.

Snaporie provides calorie and macro estimates for informational purposes only. Estimates may be inaccurate or incomplete. Snaporie is not a medical app and does not provide medical, nutritional, or health advice.

B. Apple Health data (optional)

If you choose to connect Apple Health, Snaporie may read:

  • body mass (weight),
  • active energy burned,
  • basal/resting energy burned.

Apple Health integration is available only on iOS. Android users are not affected by Apple Health references in this policy. Apple Health access is optional. You can manage or revoke access at any time in Apple Health or your device settings. Snaporie currently requests read access only for these data types on iOS.

C. Device, diagnostics, and app usage data

We may collect limited technical information such as:

  • app version and build,
  • device type and operating system,
  • crash and error diagnostics,
  • limited product analytics events related to app usage and onboarding.

We do not use analytics or diagnostics for third-party advertising, and we do not knowingly use Apple Health data for advertising or marketing.

D. Subscription and purchase data

If you purchase a subscription, RevenueCat and other subscription-related service providers may process information such as:

  • subscription status,
  • entitlement status,
  • purchase-related identifiers needed to manage access to paid features,
  • transaction-related metadata needed to manage access to paid features.

Payments are processed by Apple through the App Store or by Google through Google Play, depending on the platform you use. RevenueCat helps us manage subscription status and entitlements. We do not receive your full payment card details.

E. Advertising attribution data

If permitted by your device settings and applicable platform permissions, Snaporie may use TikTok Business SDK or similar services to measure ad campaign performance and attribution. On iOS, this may depend on your App Tracking Transparency choice. On Android and other platforms, attribution or advertising measurement may depend on your device settings and applicable platform permissions. This may include app events such as app launch, app install, and subscription events, limited device and app information, and attribution-related identifiers or signals supported by the platform.

Snaporie does not send meal photos, meal descriptions, Apple Health data, weight logs, or detailed nutrition data to TikTok for advertising attribution.
